3. Aerate
We relieve soil compaction — especially in high-traffic areas — so roots can develop deeper and reach moisture through long, hot spells. Hollow or solid tines are chosen on our experts' advice, getting deep enough to prevent the anaerobic reactions that produce toxic soil gases.
4. Seed
