How much can I earn?

This depends on volumes.  The more active customers signed up, the more you earn.  Equally, the bigger the lawn is that you refer, the more money you earn too!

 

All partners start on the Bronze Partner program, with the incentive to earn a higher referral rate for the silver and gold partnerships.  Every partner will be able to advertise that they are a Mowd Partner too with exclusive marketing materials and website banners.

Why can I get  paid all year round?

Your customers can pay for a lawn care subscription either monthly, quarterly or annually.

 

Each payment will contribute to your payout balance, and therefore you get paid all year round, including off-season months (e.g. December/January).

I am a Social Media Influencer, can I partner?

Absolutely.  We can send sample products for you to talk about on your social media channels or even collaborate on content with you!  Drop us an email to partner@mowd.uk if you would like to discuss your ideas further.

I am a Landscape Gardener - what is in it for me?

Landscape Gardeners often get one-time contracts with customers to design and build a customer paradise.  The customer then takes the keys and maintains the environment that you created.  

 

Once referred to us by you, we help your customers to maintain a lawn that is worth talking about, via quality, season-specific lawn treatments and access to our customer support for questions about making their lawn the best it can be.  The longer their garden looks great (including their lawn), the more they will be talking about your business. 

Do I get commission for on-time customer purchases?

Yes.  So long as your customer uses your referral code.

 

There are some products on our site that are excluded from earning commission on due to supply rules set by our some of our suppliers.  We regularly review the exceptions, with a view to opening up as many opportunities as possible to you.

What are sign-up bonuses?

From time to time, we will add extra incentives for a new customer referral.  This might be temporary period of increased commission rates, a one-time payment (e.g. £5 per referral), or an exclusive discount code for your customers.

 

We will notify you when these bonus incentives are available to you.

I do not have a business.  Can I become a partner?

Yes.  It is not a requirement to own or act as a business.  If you love your lawns and wish to make money by referring friends and family, you can do this.

Can I negotiate on higher commission rates?

If you anticipate high volume of sales, we can start you on higher levels of commission at our discretion.  Please contact us to discuss your individual situation - partner@mowd.uk

Am I able to stock Mowd products to sells in my physical/online shop or to make field sales?  

Absolutely, although this is not directly linked to the partner program.  

 

The partner model allows us to send treatments and handle a relationship directly with your customer for hands-off, low effort approach.  If you would like to retail our products online or in your physical store, please email sales@mowd.uk with your requirements and we will provide you with B2B pricing for the volumes you are looking for.

 

This is also a great way of allowing a customer to try our products before they sign up to a subscription.

My customer signed up without my referral code - can I add them later?

Yes, but only if you introduced them.  You cannot claim referral fees for customers that discovered us through other means (e.g. Google/Social Media) or other partners.

 

You will have to supply us with your customer's email address and first order number.

Do you supply marketing materials to assist with the referrals?

Absolutely.  We have a selection of marketing materials that we can provide to you to pass onto your customers and explain the concept.

Is there a portal that I can check my referrals and and payouts etc?

Yes.  Once registered, you'll be able to log into the partner portal and see the status of your referrals.

Will I get notified of new referrals? 

Yes.  Our system will automatically email you when there are new subscribers who use your referral code or link.

What happens if my customer  cancels their lawn care plan?

As long as your referrals are paying us, we pay you.  

 

If your customer decides to cancel their subscription, you will no longer receive payments from their lawn care subscription.

 

Will I need to pay tax on my earnings?

Most income is taxable in the UK, and so this depends on your personal/business circumstances.  You should seek advice from HRMC or an accountant if you are unsure.

Which payout methods are available?

We will make payouts via PayPal or Bank transfer.  Simply set your payout preferences in the partner portal once you have an account.

How do you track orders from my referals?

When your referral link is used, a Cookie is applied to your customer's computer.  Your customer's device.  

The tracking will remain live for 90-days.  This means that if the customer does not use your link on their next visit, the sale still be attributed to you for 90-days from the first referrer link use.  After 90-days the Cookie expires and they will need to use the link again to re-activate the tracking.

Tracking for subscriptions does not rely on the cookie tracking for recurring payments.  So long as the tracking code was used on initial signup, all recurring payments will be associated with your referral account.
