How quickly will this pre-seed fertiliser start working?
You should start to see results within 4-7 days from when the product is watered in - although a lot of the work done by Roots & Shoots happens underground, so it may not be obvious at first glance. You'll see better germination rates and thicker shoots that develop faster.
Can this pre-seed fertiliser be used for overseeding and turfing projects?
Yes - it's high in Phosphorus (P) to help the roots develop, so it's perfect for lawn renovations, turfing, or local patch seeding. You can apply it up to 1 week before you seed, and if applying to new turf, apply it underneath the turf so it gets to work quicker.
Can I spread this fertiliser by hand?
Yes - you can spread this fertiliser by hand, but we recommend using a quality fertiliser spreader to ensure the most even application. Whatever you choose, we recommend wearing gloves when handling fertiliser.
How much fertiliser do I need?
