Mowd lawn plans deliver the right seasonal treatment to your door — pre-measured for your lawn, free delivery, cancel anytime. Here's everything you need to know.
What is a Mowd lawn plan?
A Mowd lawn plan is a seasonal lawn care subscription. Every 3 months, we send you the right lawn treatments for that time of year — pre-measured for your lawn size — delivered free to your door. You don't need to research what to buy or remember when to apply it. We handle the "what" and the "when". You handle the spreading.
We offer two plans: the Seasons Lawn Feed Plan (seasonal fertiliser only) and the Seasons Plus Lawn Care Plan (seasonal fertiliser plus targeted supplementary treatments).
What's the difference between the Seasons Lawn Feed Plan and Seasons Plus?
Both plans include a seasonal granular lawn fertiliser every 3 months. The difference is what comes alongside it:
- Seasons Lawn Feed Plan: 1 product per box (seasonal fertiliser) · 4 treatments per year
- Seasons Plus: 2 products per box (fertiliser + supplementary treatment) · 8 treatments per year
The supplementary treatments in Seasons Plus are: soil improver (spring & autumn), wetting agent (summer), and iron sulphate (winter). These address specific seasonal lawn challenges that feeding alone doesn't cover. See our Plans & Pricing page for a full comparison.
Which plan is right for me as a beginner?
Both plans are designed to be accessible to beginners — no specialist knowledge required. If you're new to lawn care and just want to start feeding your lawn properly, the Seasons Lawn Feed Plan is the perfect starting point. It does the most important thing: ensures your lawn gets the right nutrition, at the right time, every season.
If you want to go further from the start — particularly if your lawn has issues like dry patches, moss, or poor soil — the Seasons Plus plan addresses those directly alongside the feeding. You can always upgrade at any time through the subscriber portal.
Can I cancel or pause at any time?
Yes, absolutely. There is no minimum term, no lock-in period, and no cancellation fees. You can cancel at any time through our self-service subscriber portal — no need to contact us. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged for the next delivery.
You can also pause your subscription if you want to skip a season — perhaps because you're away, your lawn is already well-stocked, or your circumstances have changed. Your subscription resumes automatically when you're ready, or you can cancel during a pause.
How does the subscription discount work?
When you subscribe, you receive 15% off your very first delivery. After that, every subsequent delivery is automatically discounted by 5% compared to the one-time purchase price. These discounts apply automatically — you don't need to enter a code.
Is delivery free for subscribers?
Yes — delivery is always free for subscribers on all subscription orders. One-time purchases carry a standard delivery charge. This is one of the key financial advantages of subscribing.
How do I know what size to choose?
You need to estimate your lawn's area in square metres (m²). For most rectangular lawns, that's simply length × width. Then select the matching size tier from the dropdown at checkout. Our size bands are generous — when in doubt, round up to the next band.

Are the treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes — once applied and watered in (or rained on), the granules dissolve into the soil and are safe for children and pets to be back on the lawn. While the granules are still visible on the surface, we recommend keeping children and pets off the treated area as a precaution. Full safety and application guidance is included with every delivery.
Can I buy a plan as a one-off without subscribing?
Yes — both plans can be purchased as a one-time buy for the current season. This is a great way to try the products before committing. However:
- One-time purchases are not eligible for free delivery (a delivery charge applies)
- No subscription discount is applied (one-time price is higher)
- Stock availability is not guaranteed for one-time buyers — subscribers' orders are reserved first
Our recommendation: subscribe from the start to lock in 15% off your first delivery and free delivery. You can cancel anytime if it's not for you.

How much is delivery?
Delivery is always free for subscribers on all subscription orders. One-time purchases and standalone product orders carry a standard delivery charge, calculated at checkout.
When will my order be dispatched?
Your first subscription box is dispatched as soon as you subscribe — it contains the current season's treatment. Subsequent seasonal deliveries are dispatched approximately one month before the season begins, so the product is ready to apply at exactly the right time. Our typical dispatch schedule is:
- 🌱 Spring box: ~February (for March–May application)
- ☀️ Summer box: ~May (for June–August application)
- 🍂 Autumn box: ~August (for September–November application)
- ❄️ Winter box: ~November (for December–February application)
Exact dates may vary slightly. Subscribers are always dispatched ahead of one-time buyers.
Do you deliver across the whole UK?
Yes — we deliver to all mainland UK addresses. Please contact us if you're in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or a remote area and have any concerns about delivery timescales.
What if I'm not home when my delivery arrives?
Our deliveries are sent via a tracked courier service. If you're not home, your courier will leave the parcel in a safe location or with a neighbour, or leave a card to arrange redelivery. You can also add delivery instructions to your subscription in the portal. The granular products are not perishable, so they're fine to leave outside or in a porch.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched you'll receive tracking details by email. You can also view your orders and their status any time by logging into your account at account.mowd.uk/orders.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, get in touch as soon as possible and we'll do our best to change or cancel it. For subscriptions, you can change your plan, lawn size or delivery details, or cancel future deliveries, at any time through the subscriber portal in your account. The fastest way to reach us about a specific order is via our contact page.
