Mowd Partner Program Terms & Conditions

By registering for and participating in the Mowd Partner Program, you agree to the following terms:

 

1. About the Partner Program

The Mowd Partner Program enables partners to earn commission by referring customers to Mowd’s lawn care subscription services.

 

2. How It Works

  1. Upon successful registration, you’ll receive a unique referral link or code to share with your intended audience, which will link their purchase son www.mowd.uk to your partner account.
  2. When clients subscribe to a Mowd lawn care plan or buy any other qualifying products on our website using your referral code/link, you earn a commission on the subscription revenue.
  3. Referral link cookie duration is 45 days.

In certain cases, Mowd may, at its sole discretion, retroactively assign a referral to you for a customer who did not use your referral code or link when signing up. This is not guaranteed and is decided on a case-by-case basis.

 

3. Partner Tiers & Commission Rates

  • The program operates on a tiered structure, where your commission rate and benefits increase as your referred income grows.
  • Your tier is determined by the total active subscription income from customers you have referred.
  • If your referred subscription income drops below the threshold for your current tier, you will be moved to the appropriate lower tier, losing the benefits of the higher tier including any increased commission rates.
  • Promotion to the next tier is at Mowd’s discretion. Information or criteria relating to promotion decisions may also be kept at Mowd’s sole discretion and does not need to be disclosed.

4. Products Covered by the Program

  • The products and services included in the Partner Program (and eligible for referral commissions) are determined solely by Mowd.
  • Mowd reserves the right to add or remove products from the referral scheme at any time.
  • If a product is removed from the program, you will continue to receive commission on existing approved referrals for that product for a maximum of 12 months from the date of removal, after which no further commission will be due.
  • Customers may only purchase products that are in stock.   

 

5. Commission & Payments

  • Your commission is calculated as a percentage of the income generated from customers you refer, based on your current tier.
  • Delivery charges and taxes do not contribute towards the partner commission totals.
  • Payments are made monthly, within 30 days after the end of each month.
  • Minimum payout amount: £5. If your commission balance is below £5, it will roll over to the next month until the minimum is reached.
  • PayPal is the preferred method for payouts as it is typically faster. If you choose payment via UK bank transfer, please allow up to an additional 10 days administrative lead time for processing.
  • You must provide valid UK bank details or a PayPal account to receive payments.
  • Mowd reserves the right to add, change, or remove available payment methods at any time.
  • Mowd also reserves the right to adjust commission rates, tiers, or payment structures. Any changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
  • One-off purchases
    • One of purchases are standard buy & supply transaction without any recurring charges.
    • Commission is paid at the rate of the associated partner tier, for each qualifying product only.  
  • Subscription purchases
    • Commission is earned on each payment that your referred customers make, for as long as they remain subscribed, subject to these terms.

6. Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any income tax, National Insurance, or other taxes or contributions arising from commission payments you receive.

Mowd Ltd accepts no responsibility for accounting for, or paying any such taxes on your behalf.

 

7. Employment & Contractual Compliance

  • Mowd is not responsible for any breach of contract between an employee and their employer resulting from becoming a partner or referrer of Mowd products.
  • By participating in this program, you confirm that you are free from any legal, contractual, or employment restrictions that would prevent you from acting as a partner or referrer of Mowd services.

8. Partner Responsibilities

  • You must promote Mowd’s services truthfully and professionally.
  • You must not make false or misleading claims about Mowd.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and advertising standards, including data protection laws (such as GDPR).
  • You must not act as or impersonate a customer at any time. This includes placing orders or creating accounts under false pretences to manipulate referral benefits or program metrics.

9. Conduct & Reputation

  • Partners must not encourage or refer their customers to post negative reviews about the partner’s own services on Mowd’s TrustPilot, Google, or any other Mowd-affiliated review platforms if such reviews could damage Mowd’s reputation.
  • Partners must not post false or misleading comments about Mowd’s products or services on any social media or public platform.
  • Any breach of this section will result in immediate termination of partnership and forfeiture of any accrued and future commission payments.

10. Partner Limitations & Responsibilities

  • Mowd is not responsible for the professionalism, workmanship, or services provided by partners.
  • Delivery of lawn treatments is carried out according to Mowd’s normal lawn treatment delivery schedule and cannot be altered to suit the partner’s schedule.
  • Partners cannot make changes to customer subscription accounts on behalf of customers. Customers must manage their own accounts.
  • Partners are not responsible for customer payments. All payment matters are strictly between Mowd and the customer.
  • Partners may order products on behalf of customers (for example, customers paying in cash or where lawn treatment referrals are bundled into the wider service cost, such as flat rates for maintenance by the partner), but the partner will be fully responsible for payment and subscription terms. Mowd will deliver products to the delivery address provided at order time.
  • When assuming subscription responsibility for a customer, you must provide and maintain accurate customer details including email address, full name, and contact telephone number. This is required for compliance with fertiliser traceability regulations and to ensure Mowd can maintain good customer service.

11. Approved Partner List

  • Mowd will hold and publicise an approved list of lawn care, retail, and landscaping partners for the benefit of customers and partners.
  • Your inclusion on this list is at the sole discretion of Mowd.
  • Mowd reserves the right to remove partners from the list without warning or explanation.
  • Mowd reserves the right to limit the number of partners displayed by geographical area, expertise, or services offered.

12. Payouts and Disputes

Mowd reserves the right to freeze or withhold payout of commissions in the event of any discrepancies. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Referral association disagreements
  • Customer refund requests
  • Allegations of fraud or any other legal foul play from customer
  • Any scenario where Mowd may need to reimburse a customer or suffer a financial loss due to negligence by a partner or through no fault of Mowd’s own service.

 

13. Use of Mowd Content

  • Partners may use Mowd’s publicly available website blogs, videos, advice, and tutorials for reference.
  • However, partners must apply their own professional judgement for each individual customer use-case.
  • Mowd accepts no liability for mistakes or misinterpretations of its public content, and any workmanship or outcomes remain the sole responsibility of the partner or their workforce.

14. Marketing Materials & Content Use

  • Mowd is not responsible for the content posted on partner websites or social media channels.
  • This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Mistakes or inaccuracies in marketing materials shared by the partner.
  • Any use of marketing materials that results in a negative impact on your own business or reputation.
  • Any use of Mowd marketing assets, including logos, images, copy, or video, is at the partner’s sole responsibility and risk.

15. Mowd’s Rights

  • Mowd may audit your promotional activities to ensure compliance with these terms.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation if you breach these terms, misuse referral tools, or engage in deceptive practices.

16. Intellectual Property

  • You may use Mowd’s logos and marketing materials solely to promote our services under this program.
  • All trademarks, branding, and content remain the property of Mowd.

17. Term & Termination

  • This agreement continues until terminated by either party.
  • You or Mowd may terminate participation at any time by providing written notice.
  • Mowd also reserves the right to terminate the Partner Program at any time. In this case, you will continue to earn commissions for a maximum of 12 months from the date of notice of program termination, on subscription income from customers you referred before that date.

18. Limitation of Liability

  • Mowd is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your participation.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to commissions payable under this program.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
