**WARNING** - Iron Sulphate can cause staining to hard surfaces (patios/decking/carpets etc). Apply carefully and remove any excess from non-lawn surfaces. Thoroughly clean footwear before wearing on hard surfaces or inside.
This is a granular product that can be cast using a bucket or hand fertiliser spreader.
Apply in dry conditions and sweep/blowing of excess of hard surfaces, such as patios to prevent staining!
Water in well after application (or apply before rain is forecast) and allow to dry before allowing children/pets on the area.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: Liquid Iron can green up the lawn as quickly as just a few hours but typically lasts only 1-2 weeks. Granular Iron Sulphate can take a few days to show its effects but lasts 4-6 weeks. The most interesting effect is with moss. Granular treatments penetrate moss much deeper and reduce the need for multiple applications. Iron Sward is a granular treatment lasting 4-6 weeks and is highly effective at sustaining grass green-up and moss destruction.
A: The addition of Magnesium enhances chlorophyll production to give your lawn a deep, vibrant green color. The homogeneous granules ensure an even color distribution on the lawn, even when applied at a lower rate.
A: Iron Sulphate can be applied at any time of the year, providing there is no risk of a frost. Water in well if no rain is expected.
A: Iron Sward iron sulphate lasts 4-6 weeks per application. Iron doesn't move freely in the grass plant, so regular applications are recommended.
A: Iron sulphate kills moss, turning it black and crispy. Once the moss is dead (after around 2 weeks), you can remove it with a rake or scarifier. It is worth considering seeding the areas from which you have removed moss to prevent the moss from returning. If the area is prone to moss returning, consider addressing the root cause. Improve drainage, improve sunlight access and use a lawn seed that is more resilient to shaded conditions.
