Product Support
This is a granular product that can be cast using a bucket or hand spreader. You can also cast by hand, but it is not recommended due to inconsistent results.
Apply to dry lawn only! Do not apply to wet or damp grass, as can stick to the grass leaf and burn.
Water in well after application and allow to dry before allowing children/pets on the area.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: You should start to see results within 4-7 days from when the product is watered in, although a lot of the work done by Roots and Shoots pre-seed fertiliser is done underground - so it may not ben obvious at first glance! You will see better germination rates and thicker shoots that develop faster.
A: Yes - it has high Phosphorus (P) to help the roots develop, so is perfect for lawn renovations, turning, or local patch seeding. You can apply it for up to 1 week before you seed, and if applying it to new turf, apply it underneath the turf so it gets to work quicker!
A: Yes - you can spread this fertiliser by hand, but we recommend using a quality fertiliser spreader to ensure the most even application. Each purchase comes with instructions on how to spread it for the best results. Check out our collection of fertiliser spreaders for all-size lawns. Whatever you choose, we recommend wearing gloves when handling fertiliser.
A: Each 1 kg bag will cover 30m2. Choose your lawn size from the drop-down menu and we will automatically select the required amount of fertiliser your lawn needs. Not sure how big our lawn is? Don't panic, try our online lawn measuring tool and measure the size of your lawn from the comfort of indoors! If you have a large area to cover, we can supply 20kg bags - please get in touch with your requirements.
A: This fertiliser is designed to get all of its nutrients to the seed and roots as soon as possible. It will typically last 4-6 weeks, but this depends on a few factors such as grass type, weather conditions, whether you collect grass clippings or mulch, application rate, etc.
