Our Low Nutrient Topsoil is a specially blended, British Standard (BS3882:2015) tested loamy sand, screened to 10mm for a fine, friable texture. Supplied in a 600L bulk bag (approx. 660kg), it covers around 24m² at 25mm depth and is ideal for creating species-rich wildflower areas.
This low fertility soil has a fine single-grain structure, ensuring excellent drainage and easy handling. With very low organic matter content, it prevents dominance by grasses and invasive weeds, giving wildflowers the best chance to establish and thrive. Free from contaminants and odour, this soil is clean, safe, and perfectly balanced for natural growth.
